Sat 30th Jan - Downland near Alfriston

Mixed weather conditions today - nice and bright but still very cold. This is a sunny patch between clouds.

Winter Sea 4

I haven't painted the sea for a while. Perhaps because I've not visited the beach for the past month or so. But it's still there, changeable as ever. This is near Seaford.

Two of the Seven Sisters

This is looking inland from the sea at Cuckmere. The white dots are sheep.

House near Hope Gap

This is a wooden dwelling at the bottom of the slope on the Seaford side of Cuckmere Haven. I think Hope Gap is just around the corner. How about living here then? Right on the edge of the cliff, with green fields behind and looking out to sea.

Cuckmere Haven - Sun 24 Jan

We walked to Cuckmere Haven from the car park near Seaford Head yesterday. It's great when the sun comes out. There was spring in the air!
