Whenever I chat with overseas visitors I advise a trip from Eastbourne to East Dean via Beachy Head and Birling Gap. It's such a beautiful drive at any time of the year. Looks like there are exciting developments at Birling Gap with the National Trust taking over the cliff top cafe.
yes but have you been in the cafe! its soulless , looks like a supermarket cafe , its a crime , has no character at all ....i didnt think it could get any worse ....but they may have succeeded!
